It’s been a dicey start, but it’s probably fair to say that summer is officially here. So, with all the time we spend checking the 'gram, we thought we’d share some of our favorite looks that you can, uh, borrow for any vacations you've got coming up. So, whether you’re festival-bound, packing for your beach break or sightseeing in the city, we've got a look for that.

First up, we’ve got a lesson in top tropical looks. It’s no secret that tie-dye is one of the summer’s biggest (and most psychedelic) trends, but copping a tee in lightweight mesh means all-day AC, perfect for styling out humid temps. Those visor style shades in an equally kaleidoscopic hue keep all the color up top and white cargo-style pants mean this stylish gent has nailed two trends in one look. Great work.

This summer's a bright one as pastel tones are running alongside tie-dye as another way to add some colour to your get-up. Handy, then, that co-ords in utility style cuts are a thing as well. Combine the two and you've got yourself a certified daytime winner, especially if you're spending time sightseeing around the city as all those extra pockets = hands-free living. The bucket hat and sensible, lightweight boots from Clarks Originals tie the look together nicely, but, what we're really all about is his pooch's accessorizing game. That bandana perfectly matches the colors on his fanny pack. Man's best friend, indeed.

So, what if you’re going abroad and want to make the effort for dinner and drinks with your other half? Well, we’ve never seen a striped shirt we didn’t like and the ‘fit above — teamed with those optic-white skinny jeans matching the accents — is no exception. We all love sneakers, of course, but for really making the effort, some smart black loafers can instantly elevate any casual outfit.

Nighttime inspiration is one thing but what about your day look? You know, the one for staying comfortable (and cool) whether your beach-bound or checking out the local restaurants? Take the guy above. A simple printed tank keeps things chill while pastel-colored sweat shorts and trusty Converse ensure this guy can take on all those steps with laid-back aplomb. To take this look from day to night, just throw a shirt in a fanny pack and you're all set for dinner and drinks in the city.

In terms of bold summer looks, neon takes the title as the boldest move. It’s basically summer as a spectrum, so copping a revere-collar shirt in OG neon green is the ideal way to break into the trend. The guy above hasn’t stopped there, though — rainbow-esque visor sunnies and bright yellow shorts give this look maximum head-turning capabilities. Team with swim shorts for brightening up the poolside or pinch the look above for making a statement on a night out with the boys.
