An update about COVID-19

With the ongoing situation around COVID-19, we wanted to share an update with you. These are uncertain times, but we are sure about one thing: putting the health and safety of our team and our customers first is key. USPS® Coronavirus Updates: Expected Delivery Changes

USPS products and packages may require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 impacts.

Although the Clout Collection team will work get your package over to USPS in a timely manner, once your order is in USPS's hands, our team & company have no control over the delivery speed.

When Choosing "FREE SHIPPING" As Your Shipping Method

For FREE shipping methods offered on our website, due to COVID-19 delays there is no guarantee of exact shipping delivery day/ time. Additionally, regardless of what the shipping "estimated delivery date/ time" indicates USPS has asked their partners to let the customer know this is just an estimate and to please add 1-3 extra days for delivery. As a result, no refunds will be issued to customers who use the FREE shipping option if the reason for their refund request is because the date of their event or when the product is needed is missed as we cannot control the USPS delays due to COVID-19. Free shipping is a great option to choose for NON-TIME/ DELIVERY BASED needed order times. But if you need your order fast or by a certain date/ time, do not use this method or count on the "expected shipping delivery time" as USPS has indicated it is not accurate in light of COVID-19 impacts to USPS. 

When Choosing "USPS Retail Ground (5-7) " As Your Shipping Method

USPS Retail Ground's five-day and seven-day service commitments will be extended to eight days and ten days, respectively. No refunds will be issued to customers who use this option if the reason for their refund request is because the date of their event or when the product is needed is missed as we cannot control the USPS delays due to COVID-19.

Why Is My Order Stuck In "PRE-SHIPMENT" On The USPS Tracker?

When an order is stuck in "Pre-Shipment" status, that is USPS code for "..we scanned your package but don't know where it is and/ or we missed it's initial scan at the original distribution center, but it will be scanned at another delivery point along the way." USPS is having challenges because of the COVID-19 impact thus resulting in a lack of staff/ resources as stated on the there website (click here) which is causing delays to customer packages across the USA & Internationally. What's happening is the USPS tracker indicates that the order/ package is in a status of "Pre-Shipment" and then suddenly the status changes to "your package will be delivered tomorrow before 10am" OR it will say "your order is currently out for delivery." In most cases, the Pre Shipment status will change to "your order is out for delivery" as that is happening 9 times out of 10 at the moment.

I understand some of my mail delivery may be delayed? Why?

USPS packages may temporarily require more time to be delivered due to limited transportation availability as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

When will this happen?

This change is effective April 17, 2020.
